General Education Development (GED)

Perks

  1. $0 out of pocket - Food, learning materials, practice tests, and actual tests are free.
  2. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are provided.
  3. Open enrollment and classes - nontraditional classes mean you can come when you have time!
  4.  Career and Life services - Get help with your resume, interview strategies, utility assistance, obtaining an I.D., housing help, and legal document assistance.

Requirements

  1. 20 years or older (special circumstances if you're 18 or older after July 1st, 2018).
  2. Be willing and ready to improve your life!

The Process

  1. Come in and take the placement test - this is just to determine where we start to get you the best results possible.
  2. Show up and learn at nearly any time! Non-traditional classrooms work best with hectic schedules - We're here Mon/Wed: 8am-5:30pm, Tue/Thurs: 8am-7pm, and every other Saturday!
  3. When you feel like you're prepared you'll take a readiness test (GED Practice test)
  4. If the practice test goes well you will then take the GED test - doing well on the practice test results in a high passing rate for the actual test (about a 90% passing rate!).
